Mission Bay,Shopping Malls and Sky Towers

We braved the cold and headed to Mission Bay to meet up with some friends. They live in St Heliers, about a half hour walk away, and were on foot to meet us. It was so freezing when we arrived that we ended up walking to meet them half way just to get warm! We also chased each others shadows on the beach with Cole giggling away as I stood on his shadow and blocked it out.

Whenever we go to a mall Cole has to sit on every ride we pass, usually we say we don't have any money for them since at $2 a ride they're a bit of a rip off. But on this particualr day I had $2 in my pocket and he chose to ride the horse. Yeehaa! He reckoned he was a cowboy :)

At Tots we do lots of work with clay. Cole has always been intersted in it, and is pretty good at manipulating it to construct whatever he wants. The other day he made a fantastic police motorbike, and the photo below is of his Sky Tower. An interesting interpretation - what an artist!!
