Party Day!

We started the party with a game of Throw the Baddie into Jail after which everyone got a balloon to pop to get a lollipop out. At 10.30 the face painter arrived. Nicole is awesome and if you're ever looking for a face painter or entertainer I can highly recommend her. Check out her website Imaginaire.

As Nicole was setting up her stuff a baddie (aka dad, who nobody, not even Cole, recognised!!) ran through the room making a getaway with all the party food! We chased him but he got away, luckily he had left some footprints so we followed them and discovered a box of party food hidden in the foyer - yum!

After eating, and in between face painting, Cole opened his presents, and how lucky he was...He now owns most of the Ben 10 characters, some Transformers, Lego, books, a pirate ship, and an Extreme Canteen Kit for summer time outdoor adventures.

The cake was a delicious ice cream cake from Tip Top (purchased at 10.30pm the night before the party...that's another story). It had police men and poilce cars on the top in keeping with the theme of the party.

We asked Cole this afternoon what his favourite part of the party had been and he said "The ice cream!"

The morning went really well, and the venue was the prefect choice - it was great not having to try and cram everyone into our pokey little house in the middle of winter! Now I think we will be spending the next few days making Lego and playing Transformers and Ben 10. Yay for parties!
