Tasty Treats and Scary Santa

A glorious week in the sun, got the paddling pool out and what do you know, there was room for daddy AND Cole in there! And what better way to finish off a swim than by trying your first Biguns chip, mmm, plenty of food colouring and other bad stuff, must be why it tasted so good - Cole ran away to eat it on his wee park bench under the oak tree.
Mr Helpful is ever-present, this time washing dishes. Thanks to Grandad for showing Cole he could stand on a chair and reach the sink. Now the dishes take 2 hours instead of 2 minutes, and heaven help you if you let the water out of the sink and try to move the chair back to the table.
With all the sweeping, rubbish collecting and dish washing Cole is into we should have it easy with chores later on!!
We went to Snow Planet this morning to see Santa in his sleigh. Cole couldn't wait to get through the doors, then i put his mittens on...
Silly mummy, what were you thinking? So, the crying began, and escalated when we sat down beside santa - not even on his knee, just beside him!
Nevermind, we got a photo, the one with Cole looking away from the camera was better than the one of him screaming, and we went toboganning a couple of times before mummy and Cole had both had enough!
We got changed out of our snow gear, headed out the door, and if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes I would have thought Cole had just had the most excellent time of his life - he was smiling and waving and blowing kisses to the girls at reception, giggling away, and basically being a merry little chap.
Can't wait til we visit Santa next year...
