rain rain go away

We're not sure where summer has gone, but we don't mind too much 'cause it means we can put on the raincoat and have a splash in the puddles!
But that was early last week, and the past few days have been spent quietly recovering from a bout of tonsilitis which saw Cole's temp jump to 39.8 (degrees celcius). He's fine now, thanks to the antibiotics, and we can go back to dealing with just the teething of molars!!
Some of which I discovered on Sunday when hanging Cole upside down - so it was only by chance I spotted 2 molars had popped through up the top. (That explains the grumping and waking in the night a couple of weeks ago).
Sunday was a busy day, with visits from Pop and Uncle Paul, then Grandma and Grandad, and later on 'uncle' Glenn, who came to help fix daddy's bike that got broken the same time as a couple of his ribs the other week while out riding...No broken bones for mummy though, only a few bruises from snowboarding, hopefully that's all that any of us will have for a while (touch wood). Can't imagine what might go on round here with daddy AND mummy nursing injuries!!
Although it's quite possible Cole will end up with something broken one of these days since he is such a daredevil - the latest stunts include couch diving, and trying to ride his bike down the driveway (which is pretty steep for a toddler on a plastic trike!).
Finally, a big hello to the rellies in the UK, who we know are reading this! And also a big hi to Aunty Nat, and lots of hugs, we hope your dad is doing well and feeling better xx
Bye for now :)

Hey Bex, just read your last post...Jeeze you guys have a full on life style, with the odd broken bone thrown in here and there. The blogs looking great and love your style of writing. I write mine, then have to go back 2 or 3 times to correct spelling mistakes. Must be the lack of sleep is shrinking my brain. I've added a link to your blog from mine. Hope that's OK with you. All the best, Lee
