Barcelona Feb 2012

We flew to Girona last week with the delightful Ryanair, a flight so early we got to see the sun rise after we'd taken off! Then we took the Barcelona Bus to the city, and finally a Metro ride to our apartment in Eixample.
We started exploring right away, and there was plenty to see. We spent one day taking the City Sightseeing bus around the city, hopping on and off as we pleased. We rode in the gondola to the castle on top of the hill, and one day after a Tapas lunch visited the aquarium.
We went to see the Sagrada Familia but ended up just taking photos from the outside as the queue was ridiculously huge to go inside. We think Barcelona would be a great city to visit again when the kids are older...or without them!!
