Ava

Well, our little princess is a lot bigger, and blonder, now than in this photo taken at her 1st birthday party in April 2010! She still loves babies and animals, but has developed interests in princesses, Dora the Explorer and Diego, and she loves staionery! Her drawing and 'writing' is coming along nicely, she usually has pen and paper to hand as she moves around the house, and Cole has taught her the letters in her name, so she can say them and now we are teaching her to write them. She's a right little chatterbox, only ever quiet when she's asleep. She started creche in August and is understanding and speaking some French. She likes to sing us songs in French that she has learnt at creche. She misses Cole terribly when she's home without him, but when he is here she loves to play him up and try to copy his karate kicks! She dances at every opportunity, loves to sing, and wants to do everything for herself...little miss independant!! Her favourtie food is crisps, but following close behind is anything sweet (choc and lollies), cheese, and fruit strings, which we can't buy in Lux so when they arrive from NZ in one of Grandma's parcels they don't last long at all!! Next year she will be able to start ballet, but we think she will go on to prefer hip hop when she's a little older because it suits her 'style' better :) She also loves clothes and shoes, is an absolute social butterfly, and enjoys being the centre of attention.
