Our German Castle Adventure

Here are a few photos from when we went to Germany and stayed at a castle - Burg Reichenstein in Trechtinghausen. We saw a few different castles during our stay, ten minutes either way of where we stayed offered us plenty of choice for exploring. Our favourite was Castle Rheinstein (built in 900) where we had to walk up a long winding path to get to the castle 270 feet high on a rock above the Rhine. It was well worth the climb though!
