Pre-Xmas Day Christmas

We had a few family members over for a pre Xmas Chirstmas BBQ today. Shaun and Shelly gave Cole a metal detector, which kept him busy for a while searching the garden for treasure. He found a load of stuff, including cars, a chocolate Santa, sellotape, stickers, a toothbrush, and binoculars.

Paul and Vanessa gave him a water gun, which was used throughout the afternoon to soak everyone. Poor old Shaun was trying to have a rest on the rug and ended up looking as though he had wet himself!

The barbie was delicious for lunch; sausages, steak, salads, potatoes, and proof below in the photo that Cole eats lettuce now...with ketchup of course! Lunch was followed with home made cheesecake, plus strawberries and watermelon. Yum!

Cole also got a cool Hot Wheels car track which him and dad later discovered joined up with his Batman trakcs, so they were able to catapult the cars clear across the room, and some of them even managed to round the corner into the kitchen.

So that's one Xmas celebration down, with one to go on Thursday - fingers crossed for fine weather.
