Birthday Parties, Girls on Stilts, & Drawing

On Friday we went to Cole's friend Emma's 4th birthday party. Cole and his friend Aiden dressed as....you guessed it, police officers!! They had a ball making party hats, playing pass the parcel, musical statues, and going on a treasure hunt. Then Mr Whippy turned up so everyone had ice cream. Great party, but Cole was knackered after 3 hours on the go!


We went shopping in the weekend and ended up at the new Albany Westfield. Around the back of the mall are a cluster of restaurants so we gave Abi and Shelly a call and they joined us for lunch. While we were sitting outside two beautiful girls dressed all in white came by on stilts. Cole wouldn't go near them, but was happy to watch from afar!
This afternoon Cole has been drawing, something he is becoming increasingly interested in, along with writing. We printed off some mini pictures of us all to stick in his fire engine and burning house, and even found some photos of him dressed up as a fire fighter - perfect for the occassion!

Cole slept for the first time in his top bunk last night, he was very proud when he woke up this morning and had stayed in his bed all night, coming into bed with mum and dad for a high five! I'll try and get some pics tonight to post.
