Boo at the Zoo

We went to celebrate Halloween at Auckland Zoo last night. We all got a loot bag with some yummy goodies in, and Scott organised nibbles so we could picnic and listen to the bands. They were kid's bands tho, and one of them claimed to be better than the Wiggles...no, they weren't.

Abi came with us and dressed as a witch. Cole, being the Wizard of Oz fan that he is, wondered if she would be a bad witch or a good witch. And when we saw her he immediately thought she was a good witch (Cause good witches are beautiful!).

There was lots to do at the Zoo, slides and pirate ships, and people walking around with buckets of chocolates to give away. We stocked up on free fruit sticks and juices (ok, me and Abi stocked up, Scott took only one of everything!!) but then about 8 o'clock it started to rain, so along with everyone else we crammed into the cafe.

Oh yeah, and we got to ride in Gator's new truck which Cole thought was very cool. He sat in the back yelling at all the taxis to get out of our way...don't know where he gets that from, but kept telling Abi to beep them out of our way!

All in all it was a lovely evening.
