Our Stink Camera

Well, our camera seems to be on it's way out, so no photos to share this time :(

I took Cole to see Dr Liang, a paediatric allergy specialist, and after blood tests (poor Cole sobbed through that!) and skin prick tests it turns out he is significantly allergic to house dust mites. The normal level is 10 and he was 230!!!! The tests also proved that he does indeed have an intolerance to cow's milk, but it appears he is slowly growing out of it.

Interestingly the tests showed that while he's not anaemic, he does have a low iron count. So it's plenty of home grown silverbeet and the brown meat from fish for him, according to the doctor. Now I'd like to see him come over and get Cole to eat silverbeet! We'll just have to be creative like the grated carrot and zucchini he has in meatballs!

Since starting full time at Uni Cole has been going to Tots five days a week, although he has short days on Mon and Tues. He loves a Thurs night when Scott picks him up and they get to go home on the bus. As usual he seems to thoroughly enjoy the time he spends there, and has built some solid relationships with his mates, and ofcourse the teachers.

Tonight we are catching up with Abi at the Slip Inn in Highbury so will try and get some pics to post another day. Oh, and since Cole enjoys saying Bonjour to everyone now instead of hello I guess I should say Au Revoir!
