A Week Off
Poor old Cole has hand foot and mouth again, almost a year exactly since he had it last. But atleast this time because he has partial immunity it's not so bad, we haven't had the fevers or a trip to Starship. And he thinks all his Christmases have come at once becuase he gets to spend the week with some of his favourite people - mummy on Tues, Grandma today, Abi Thurs and daddy Friday. And the bonus of Abi is ofcourse her boyfriend Gator who let Cole sit in his car once and push the buttons and turn the steering wheel, and Cole has never forgotten. Whenever we speak of Abi "Gator's car?" quickly follows! Not to mention the fact that they took Cole to MOTAT for the afternoon a little while back.
As for grandma, well she took Cole to the shops today and he came home with some of the cars from the Disney Cars movie which he hasn't put down all night. He even had a tantrum when he couldn't take them to bed (oh, but that was quickly softened with mention of Abi and Gator!!)
Nana and Pop returned from a Norfolk Is holiday on Sunday and popped in for a visit on their way back to Whangarei. They got Cole a Thomas the Tank Engine game that he'll be able to play when he's a bit older, at the moment he just loves pressing the dice bubble in the middle!
Here are some photos of Cole trying on Kate's glasses at daycare last week, very funny, and so cute :)
Happy Birthday to our Blogger mate Jarvis who was two recently, you can check out his awesome pressies by clicking the link to The World of Jarvis Tahi to the right of this posting.
Have a lovely week, (and thanks for washing all the dishes Grandma!)

Mate, so sorry to hear you are crook. Sucks aye. Ah well, they keep telling us, that it's good to get all these bugs now, as it strengthens our immune systems. The best part is that I get to pass my bugs onto my Dad, and he's such a poof, it's make me and mah laugh when he lays around wimpering!
Get well soon buddy,
Jarvis :o)
