Luxembourg So Far

Wow, so this is a LONG overdue posting! We have been in Luxembourg for almost a month now and are enjoying every moment so far.

We stayed for one week at the Hilton Hotel which was great except for the amount of food we consumed eating buffet-style for every meal! Since leaving the Hilton we have been staying in temporary accommodation at a spacious 2 bedroom apartment in Limpertsberg close to the city centre. A ten minute walk to the pirate playground, a regular haunt of ours, and plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby.

We are moving to a 3 bedroom apartment in July. We spent 2 days being driven all over the place checking out houses and apartments until we found a brand new development in a place called Bofferdange, about 8 kms from the city centre (and in the commune of Lorentzweiler).

We hired a car for a week before Scott started work and took a drive to Belgium, as well as Park Merveilleux, Petrusse, and a few other localities. We haven't found a car to buy as yet, so are not venturing to far afield. But we are planning a weekend in Paris for Cole's birthday at the end of July.
